Centerpieces (Woo Hoo!)

One of the biggest reasons why I wanted to start this blog was to share different wedding photos and ideas that have inspired me, and hopefully get feedback and opinions from others. I'm going to try to keep my final decisions quiet until the big day, but I'm rather opinionated so we'll see how long I can keep my trap shut :)

Let's start with something fun and artistic; table centerpieces for the reception!

I love the underwater floral idea. Chic, cheap, and klutzes like me can pull it off without having to hire a florist. Not so much a fan of the round candles in the square holders though.

This photo grabbed me because of the architectural elements. Instead of the red twigs though, I'm thinking long pieces of driftwood. I like the idea of somehow attaching flowers, but I'm not sure what kinds or how exactly to do it.

Now this is all kinds of gorgeous. It may be hard to see, but there are floating candles at the top. Simple, elegant, and best of all, cheap and easy to do myself!

Yes, I do still like flowers that haven't been drowned first. I love the rustic simplicity and cheeriness of this.

I liked this at first, but now I'm not so sure. The flowers with the linens and candles are a bit much. I think I'm just a sucker for lilies.

I love this look. I envision it minus the palm fronds and replace the orchids with something less exotic, maybe gardenias? As much as I wish I were getting married in Hawaii, I'd rather have something that complements my surroundings (which are gorgeous in their own right).

It's simple idea but elegance. It could be easy but it could be beautiful like an ikebana. Great ideas!!
